U.D.P. 11 Belize City Launches Manifesto
The Municipal Election is exactly one week away from today and as we have been showing you, the political teams are hitting the campaign trails. Today, the U.D.P. slate in Belize City held a virtual launch of its manifesto that they say will “bring back fi we city.” Here’s a snippet of some of the things they plan to do in the city if they win the election on March third.

“This U.D.P. eleven team intends to foster more self-employment initiatives via our entrepreneurs and small businesses program. We believe that the people should be giving the resourcing and decision making powers to improve their lives.”

“We intend to establish an online digital market place so that businesses in Belize City will be able to market and sell goods and services that they provide on our platform which will then be broadcasted to potential clients across the country.”

“We will recruit employees from the talented staff of the Belize City Council to form a community relations unit which will be primarily responsible to establish a stable line of communication between residents and the council. This unit will organize monthly community meetings throughout the city for the residents to speak directly to their elected council and management team. It will also seek to register and assist all community service projects and community clubs with their goals and establish partnerships with underfunded schools by expanding their extracurricular programs by sharing the council talented human resource.”
