Police stop beating on Fabers Road
It appears tonight that a police patrol in an area off Central American Boulevard saved the life of a Belize City man last weekend. According to an officer in the Dragon Unit, while on Arlington Drive around six-thirty last Friday evening, he saw three men hitting a man over the head with a piece of lumber. He fired a warning shot into the air and the attackers ran away. The victim, William Eddison Neal, of Fabers Road extension, remains at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in a stable condition. Today, police arrested and charged a sixteen-year-old for attempted murder and dangerous harm. Police say they are still looking for the teen’s two accomplices.
