David Galindo – Was His Shooting a Retaliation?

Police say that on Sunday sometime before eight o’clock David Galindo was heading home when he was shot. Galindo was reportedly recently released on bail in connection for the deadly attack at CK Bar last July that left two persons dead.

“Police were called to the Galindo’s residence in Santa Elena Town where they learnt that sometime just before seven-fifty a.m when he approached by a dark complexion male person who fired several shots in his direction, one of those shots which caught him. As a result, he was transported to the San Ignacio Community Hospital and later to the Western Regional where he is now in a stable condition. Police have two persons in our custody and it is expected that later today charges will be proffered against those persons.”

“We believe it is an ongoing dispute that the Galindos have had since the last two years with another group.”

“We are looking at that as a part of the investigation.”
