Leary Simon Succumbs to Gunshot Injuries

A young man Leary Simon has succumbed to injuries he received after being shot on Reggae Street March seventh. The Santa Elena resident was approached by a lone gunman last Sunday. He was hospitalized at the K.H.M.H. where he fought for his life until Friday morning when he passed away. Senior Superintendent Hilberto Romero told the media this morning that three persons were picked up in the wake of the shooting, but were subsequently released from police custody.

“Reference the shooting of Leary Simon, he was pronounced dead at 1:05 a.m. on March 12th, 2021. Reference this investigation several persons were detained and interviewed and later released due to lack of evidence. The investigation into this matter continues.”
