Drug Bust in the North!
Police have arrested and charged a Libertad man for possession of a controlled drug. On Tuesday, the K9 Unit and Commanders Operation Support Team carried out an operation in Corozal where they searched the home of twenty-year-old Edwin Catzim in Libertad. Police say they didn’t find anything illegal inside the house, but a search of the yard led to a pickup truck which contained thirteen parcels of cocaine which weighed thirteen point seven-five grams.
The police report says that thirty-three-year-old Estuardo Marvin Rodriguez was identified as the owner of the vehicle. Rodriguez was slapped with a charge of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply to another.
