Baby Boy Dies Days after Injections – Post Mortem to Determine Cause of Death!

A baby boy has died in northern Belize. The circumstances of his death surround a visit to a clinic where he reportedly received two injections that are a part of his scheduled shots as a baby. Police say that while only a post-mortem can reveal the cause of the death, the mother reports that the baby fell ill after taking the injection. Here’s more from ACP Joseph Myvett.

“The baby was taken to the northern regional hospital, I believe, late last night, motionless. The baby was said to have received two injections at a village health center I believe it was Friday and ever since then the baby wasn’t well. So, when the baby’s mother went to check on him, I believe it was late last night she found the baby motionless and as a result the baby was transported to the northern regional hospital.”
