“Elizabeth Barrera visited the Benque Viejo Police Station and reported that her son twenty-six-year-old Danilo De La Rosa arrived home with a gunshot injury to the leg and as a result she transported him to the San Ignacio Community Hospital and thereafter she proceeded to the Benque Viejo Police Station to make a report. She reported that her son was socializing at a residence on Kennedy Street in Benque Viejo Town when he got into an altercation with one of those persons with whom he was socializing with who took out a firearm and fired several shots at him. He then ran from the area and that is when he realized that he was shot. After this report was made to police, police then left in search of those persons in the area of Kennedy Street. Shortly after one a.m this morning, when police did visit the residence they came under fire and returned fire and that is when PC Felton Williams who was a part of the team visiting the residence realized that he received a gunshot injury to the right upper leg. He has since been treated and released from the hospital. Police have five persons detained so far and are seeking two others whom after the shooting fled the scene.”
