Anchor security guard supervisor jailed for court house assault
An Anchor Security Guard Supervisor is in jail tonight after he attacked a colleague almost three weeks ago. Twenty-nine year old Richard Arnold had to answer to charges of Aggravated Assault and Wounding in court today because he allegedly choked and pistol whipped another security guard, Frank Garcon. The incident occurred on October fifth and to make matters worse, it happened at the Supreme Court. Arnold was doing a routine patrol when he noticed Garcon sitting on a bench and thought he was sleeping on the job. Garcon says Arnold grabbed him from behind and started to choke him. When he fought back, Garcon says Arnold took out his service revolver and hit him several times to the face. Arnold pleaded not guilty, was denied bail and has been remanded to the Hattieville Prison until October thirtieth, when he is due back in court.
