Mexican Pilot needs 7K for court fine!
On March ninth we told you about the small airplane that crash landed near Blue Creek in northern Belize. On board at the time of the landing, were two Mexicans; Ramon Lopez Perez and Humberto Miranda Gonzalez. They were both arrested and charged for landing an aircraft without permission. One of the men remains behind bars but the other had been deported to his country. A.C.P. Joseph Myvett tells us more:
ACP Joseph Myvett, Head, National Crimes Investigation Branch
“Last week he was convicted in the Orange Walk Magistrate’s Court where he was fined a total of seven thousand Belize dollars. He is still in prison awaiting the payment of that fine. The other person who was along with him has since been released from prison and an order to leave the country was issued to him by immigration department.”
