Hugh Middleton charged for the murder of Clifford Hyde

Police have arrested and charged twenty-six-year-old Hugh Daniel Middleton of Roaring Creek Village for the murder of Clifford Hyde and the attempted murder of Anya Galvez on Saturday April 4.  Middleton was arraigned today in the Belmopan Magistrate Court, on charges of murder, attempted murder, dangerous harm and use of deadly means of harm. The shooting occurred at a family gathering on the Young Bank Road. The allegations are that Hyde got into an argument with a man who was also hanging out on the property and when Hyde was departing Middleton took out a gun and fired the fatal shots.
