Duo Gets Bail for Rape of Minor
Two men who were arraigned on Tuesday on charges of raping a twelve-year-old girl were today granted bail. Supreme Court Justice, Herbert Lord granted Tashane Williams and Theodore Andrew bail of ten thousand dollars, but they must report to the police three times a week, not communicate with the victim or go within one hundred yards of her, in addition to other restrictions.
Williams faces one count of rape and one count of attempted rape of the minor. Andrews is charged with one count of rape and one count of sexual assault. He is also accused of video-taping the incident in Belize City on Friday on March twenty-sixth. Williams and Andrews were ordered to return to court on June twelfth.
