Jasmine Sanchez Shot on Boots Crescent
A Belize City woman was injured on Friday night during a spray of bullets fired at a residence on Boots Crescent. Reports are that as many as fifteen shots were fired in the direction of a group socializing inside the yard. When the shooting subsided Jasmine Sanchez had been wounded. While she would not confirm what led to the attack, investigators are looking at all angles, including gang activity.

“On Friday, April 9th, 2021, police responded to a shooting at Boots Crescent. Upon their arrival, they found Jasmine Sanchez who received a gunshot injury. Information is that she was in a yard along with other persons when persons came to the area and fired shots towards their direction. She was taken to the K.H.M.H. where she received treatment and has since been released from the K.H.M.H.”

“Did she provide any information to the police to say what led to the shooting?”

“No. They were hanging out in that yard when someone came there and fired the shots. That is all the information we have.”
