PM to Unions: “When Baby Want Cry They Will Cry”
We also asked the PM for comments on the Public Service Union’s call for him to rein in his Minister of Health, Michel Chebat. On April first, the Public Service Union issued a press release calling out the Minister of Health for what they term bullish behaviors that are making Public Officers uncomfortable and promoting the abuse of Government assets and wasteful spending of Government funds. The P.S.U. accused Minister Chebat and his political lackeys of political interference in the Administrative affairs of the Public. Prime Minister Briceño responded saying that he intends to have a sit down with the Minister, but also noted that such criticisms are common.
Prime Minister John Briceño
“I don’t agree fully with what they are saying, because when baby want cry they will cry for anything. But, What I can assure you is that we will sit down and talk to the Minister and see what are the issues. If there are any issues that are merited to be answered then we will deal with it.”
