New Regulations Scale Back Curfew Hours on Friday and Saturday!

Heading into the weekend, you may want to be aware of the new statutory instrument that came into effect on Wednesday at midnight. There are a few a few changes to the COVID-19 regulations. The amendments state that on Fridays and Saturdays the curfew hours are now from twelve a.m. to five a.m. and from Sunday to Thursday of each week the curfew hours remain the same from ten p.m. to five a.m. Of note, the curfew for children remains from six p.m. to six a.m., but a child is allowed to be out with a parent or guardian after the six p.m. In terms of establishments, rum shops, bars and discotheques remain closed. As we’ve reported, casinos are now allowed to be open with strict COVID-19 safety measures in place. All other regulations for public functions and sporting activities and other establishments remain unchanged.
