And finally tonight, a little good news for some children in Dangriga. They will benefit from a gift of reading material from the U.S. Embassy in Belmopan. Today almost one thousand children’s books were given to schools and libraries in that community as well as to the pediatric unit at the Southern Regional Hospital. The Embassy says that the books are for very young children to teenagers and they include a wide variety of English-learning tools. U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Keith Gilges said that the value placed on positive books is far more than the dollar figure placed on them.
