Kevonn Wade

The quiet of Punta Gorda was interrupted on Thursday night when shots rang out near the Uno Gas Station and the Courts superstore. In the aftermath at the property adjacent the superstore, Kevonn Wade lay on the ground dead.

Around seven-thirty on Thursday night, Kevonn Wade sat on his veranda on Main Street in Punta Gorda. Little did he know that he would be the target of a gunman who appeared and opened fire in his direction. Reports are that the echo of at least six blasts was heard in the area. The thirty-seven-year-old, who is originally from Western Paradise Village in the Belize District, was rushed to the Punta Gorda Polyclinic where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
