B.N.T.U. to Boycott Media Houses?
In more from the B.N.T.U. protest today, some in the union are pushing for a boycott of certain media houses. According to President of the Union, Senator Elena Smith, this is in response to the airing of certain anti-union government ads. But, the union is reportedly being specific in the media houses they are targeting. In essence, Senator Smith says the union will be pulling back support from those media houses intent on ridiculing its members.
Senator Elena Smith, National President, B.N.T.U.
“If it is that these media house are putting out these ads that goes against us as Unions then do you expect that we will support them? Of course not. We cannot support them when they are going against us. They need us as much as we need them. They want to make money and they are making money off these ads. But are you going to sell your soul to the devil just for some money? That is not how it is going to work.”

“Are you going to boycott all media house, because all of them are playing the ad?”
Senator Elena Smith
“Really? Well, we have some media houses who have been open to work with us to have us on their radio shows to assist us along the way. Those media houses we will continue to support, the ones who have been supporting us. But the ones who have been taking the hard and fast position that they are going to go against us, calling us stupid, and stupider and all kind of things on their show, that’s a different story.”
