Santa Claus ready to visit Belizean children
Hi and we’re back on Albert Street.
Q: “I’m here with Elgene. Elgene, when did you start your Christmas shopping?”
Elgene Brown, Shopper
“I just started my Christmas shopping about an hour ago and I’m kinda late right now but I’m trying to get everything ready for this Christmas.”
Q: “What kinds of things are you shopping for?”
Elgene Brown
“I’m kinda late with the turkey and ham so I’m trying to get some of it now, but it’s kinda late because everything has been sold out and small. It’s kinda hard but I’m gonna get everything together.”
Q: “What kind of presents are you looking to buy for your Children?”
Elgene Brown
“I was looking for some stuff dolls but they are all sold out so I guess I’ll have to continue look for the rest of the evening.”
Q: “So you’re really a last minute shopper?”
Elgene Brown
“Yes, I am a last minute shopper.”
Well at least McKesey is right over there selling sugar cured ham. Give your family a little present right now and tell me who you’d like to wish Merry Christmas to.
Elgene Brown
“My mom and my dad and to everyone in my family I wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy millennium 2000.”
Thanks Elgene and good luck finding those presents. And now I have a little special guest, this is Sabrina. Sabrina is out shopping with her mom.
Q: “Sabrina tell me how things have been?”
Sabrina
“My mom buy a lot of gifts for my family.”
Q: “What kind of things you want her buy?”
Sabrina
“She buy me a box to put my jewelry in.”
Q: “You have jewelry? Oh my gosh, you must look so pretty. So what you wrote to Santa that you wanted this year?”
Sabrina
“I wanted a Barbie.”
Q: “What kind of Barbie – Malibu Barbie, Beach Barbie?”
Sabrina
“Beach Barbie.”
You going to sleep early tonight? And you’re gonna put the milk and the cookies out? All right. And I hope you have a Merry Christmas and look who’s here. Now you can tell Santa what you want.
Sabrina
(talking with Santa Claus) “A Barbie.”

“A Barbie, wow! I’ll see if I can get that for you okay.”
