Shooting victim says he doesn’t know shooters
Police are looking for two men in one of those all too familiar cases in which the victim claims he has been shot for no apparent reason by people he never saw and does not know. Twenty-one year old Marlon Hyde of George Street in Belize City reported to authorities that while he was standing on the corner of Antelope and Elston Kerr Streets late Friday night two men approached and fired four shots in his direction. One bullet found its mark in Hyde’s upper right leg and he was taken to Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital There was no attempt at robbery. Police continue to look for a motive as well as suspects.
