There are only twenty-two more days until Christmas and if you have not started your shopping or if you do not know what to buy, then the Women’s Issues Network may have a solution for you. On Saturday WIN is holding its first Christmas Craft Show. According to Mirlin Halliday at WIN Belize, there will be something for everyone.
Mirlin Halliday, Assistant, Advocacy and Campaign Committee
“On Saturday we are having a Christmas Craft Show at St. Mary’s Hall. The gates open at one thirty and it goes on until six. At the craft show we will be having women from all over the country displaying their crafts, baked goodies, dried wreaths, dried flowers, center pieces, table runners, silverware, holders. You name it I think we will have it there.”
Q: “And the funds raised from this will go towards what?”
Mirlin Halliday
“Women’s Issues Network, fighting for better conditions for women, violence against women anything that concerns women.”
There will also be a tea party and entertainment at the craft show, which begins at one thirty at St. Mary’s Hall. There is a small fee of two dollars to attend the craft show and five for the show and tea party.
