2 Kilograms of Cocaine in Coro!
Four persons were each hit with a drug charge after police found two parcels of cocaine at their house in Corozal. ACP Joseph Myvett of the National Crimes Investigation Branch tells us more.

“Police conducted a search at the residence of Angelina Gomez of Seventh Avenue in Corozal Town which led to the discovery of two parcels of suspect cocaine which led to the discovery of a combined weight of 2.13 kilograms. Present at the time was Ms Gomez, seventy-years-old; Idelfonso Gomez, forty-one-years-old; Miriam Oliva, forty-six-years-old; Miguel Oliva, twenty-three-years-old. Those persons were arrested and charged with intent to supply a controlled drug.”
