Pharmacist Shot Outside His Store
Well-known pharmacist Edward Flowers is lucky to have escaped grave injury when he came under gunfire on Monday night in Belize City. The forty-two-year-old had just closed his pharmacy for business when an unknown individual took aim at him. Multiple shots were fired in Flowers’ direction, hitting him in the right shoulder. The incident took place on Fabers Road shortly before eight o’clock. The shooter made good his escape on foot by running in the direction of Central American Boulevard. Flowers has been treated and released from the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.
