Child drowns after falling off ferry

While the family of Ezekiel Nesbitt is now more convinced than ever that his death was the result of foul play, indications from the Cayo District are that a child’s death there was an accident. Six year old Theodoro Sotz of Roaring Creek is believed to have drowned after falling off a river ferry this weekend. Theodoro and his eight-year-old brother were with their father who operates the Valley of Peace Ferry on Sunday evening when the incident occurred. His father Daniel jumped into the water and grabbed the child, but the current was too strong and he was swept downstream. The body has yet to be found.
