Placencia man killed in accident
A Placencia man was killed in an accident on the Northern Highway around eleven Saturday night. Twenty-three year old Daniel Perez was driving a car towards Belize City when he collided head on with a pick-up truck on a curve between miles six and seven. He suffered severe head and body injuries and died on the spot. The driver of the truck, Jerome Humphrey of Burrell Boom was cut on his face and complained of chest and abdominal pain. He was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Both vehicles were extensively damaged.
