Body found in Orange Walk identified by relative
The body of a man found two weeks ago partially wrapped in black plastic, has been identified. Earlier today Noel Martinez identified the body to be that of his cousin, Wilmer Nathan Reyes Salinas Martinez, a twenty-five year old from Orange Walk Town. Noel Martinez says Wilmer Martinez left for Placencia on the twenty-second of October and was never heard from again. The body, which was found in the vicinity of Pasture Street, was decomposed and buried on the spot. Noel Martinez identified his cousin by the brown belt buckle with the initial “N”. Police say they have leads but have yet to make an arrest in connection with the death.
