Dennis Codd wins Lotto draw

Today Dennis Codd walked into the Lotto office to claim his prize: a whopping sixty-two thousand, five hundred dollars. Codd says it was not until this morning that he decided to check the tickets he had bought on Saturday, October twenty-third. Codd has been buying Lotto for sometime now and was recently laid off from his job. He looks at the winnings as a blessing from the Lord.

“I just sit in my house this morning and I know that I had bought Lotto tickets and I knew that someone had claimed that he had won and he didn’t. So I just decided to call the Lotto office and see if anyone had claim this ticket or what is this number and when I checked my ticket it matched perfectly.”

“I had a particular number that I do buy but these numbers that I had won was a quick pick.”

Codd takes home fifty-three thousand, one hundred and twenty-five dollars after government takes its fifteen percent share. Codd says he plans to spend the money wisely.
