Lord Michael Ashcroft & Tracy Panton Oppose 11th Amendment Bill

Today, U.D.P. area rep Tracy Panton posted on social media the words of her eighty-one-year-old mother on the proposed eleventh amendment bill.  It says, “I do not agree with everything that Shyne Barrow has been up to. In fact, I outright disagree with many of his shenanigans. But his objection to the eleventh amendment is on point…. The amendment we need is to allow anyone who has equally paid their debt in any jurisdiction and has reformed their life to have the same privilege. Redemption is real and attainable. There are many white collar criminals, they know who they are, who have never been tried and convicted, and yet they would be deemed suitable candidates by the powers that be.”  This evening, Lord Michael Ashcroft joined in the opposition to the eleventh amendment by retweeting Panton’s post saying, “I totally agree with Tracy’s eighty-one-year-old mum.”
