Trucker killed in accident
An employee of the Ministry of Works died on Sunday in an accident at the Ministry’s compound at mile eleven on the Stann Creek Valley Road. Forty-three year old Samuel Mortis was lying under a truck replacing a hydraulic hose around eight thirty a.m. when the truck pan dropped on him. He was taken to the Dangriga Hospital but pronounced dead on arrival. Mortis was a heavy equipment operator for the Ministry of Works at Hope Creek Village.
