Court messenger apprehended in Mexico
It was rumored that he was heading for the States, but he didn’t get far. The seventeen-year-old messenger for the Belize City Magistrate’s Court was picked up by Mexican police at Villa Hermosa and handed over to Corozal police this morning. Kenroy Humes is wanted in connection with the disappearance of over six thousand dollars -? property of the Government of Belize — which he was supposed to take to the bank on Monday. When Humes failed to show up for work Tuesday and the money failed to reach the bank — court employees called police. He is detained in Belize City, pending charges.
