Juliet Thimbrel Removed as Chair of U.D.P.’s Convention Steering Committee
The United Democratic Party remains in free-fall. Despite Patrick Faber retaining his seat as party leader, following a recall convention, the fallout continues within the beleaguered opposition. The most recent rift seems to be between the Collet Area Representative and former Senator Juliet Thimbrel who was also the manager of Wave Radio, the U.D.P.’s political media organ. In a social media post shared by Thimbrel, she says, “after working for more than twenty-six years in the United Democratic Party, more than half of my life, because I dare to express myself about how matters are proceeding this is what I got! Never regret being real or expressing yourself.” In response, Faber says, “it regrettably seems I’m not able to get your objective support so I suggested we do things differently. I didn’t want it to come as a surprise to you and so I’m sending this message. Thanks for all your efforts to the party over the years.”
