Fatal Accident on Bullet Tree Road

A notice of intended prosecution has been served on San Ignacio resident Leon Small following a fatal road traffic accident out West. On Friday night, Small was travelling in his Wingle pickup towards Bullet Tree Village when he knocked down and killed Orlando Samuel Williams, who was walking on the road. It has not been established whether Small was under the influence while behind the steering wheel, but police say that he has been charged for failure to provide a specimen.

“Mister Small as driving from San Ignacio en route to Bullet Tree when he just heard a loud bang. He came out the vehicle and thereafter he inspected and about fifty feet away from the vehicle, police observed the motionless body of Orlando Samuel Williams with severe injuries to the body. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. So far, Mister Small has been issued with a N.I.P. and he was also charged for failed to provide a specimen.  It happened around a curve and the area, so far, I have been told is kinda dark at time. But I cannot tell you if and on that night what was the lighting condition. I did not ask the investigator about that.”

Were you guys able to determine what Mister Samuels was doing on the road for him to have been hit?”

“Well so far, police have gathered that Mister Samuels is a person that regularly walks that street there and it something that he normally does every time.”
