Electrician charged with Baron Bliss Day murder
Turning to the Magistrates’ Court, an electrician was today charged with Murder in connection with a fatal shooting on the ninth of this month. Twenty year old Carl Reneau is believed to have gunned down Brian ‘Benji’ Williams and has now been remanded into custody until April fourteenth when he will be tried for the crime. As required in these cases, no plea was taken and no bail was offered to the accused. Williams was painting a verandah at the corner of Fabers Road and Nurse Findley Crescent when he was ambushed and shot five times; once to the left side of his chest and jaw and on the right side of his back, rib cage and buttocks.
