CDS Gas Station robbed at gunpoint

Two gas attendants got the scare of their lives this afternoon when they were forced to lie on the ground as three thieves jacked the station at gunpoint. The crime occurred around four p.m. at CDS Gas Station located on the Boom Hattieville Road. The manager of the station told police that one of the jackers came from the direction of Burrell Boom Village while the other two came from around the building with rags on their faces. One of the men produced a revolver and ordered the two employees to the ground; thereafter, the crooks stole three hundred and fifteen dollars along with three cheques from the cash register. Before they left, the thieves each helped themselves to a Red Bull energy drink. Police believe the culprits had a vehicle parked somewhere nearby because when they responded to a call for help only minutes later and searched the area, no one was in sight. They have, however, begun to look for three suspects.
