Belmopan resident chopped with machete
Later that same day, Hipolito Gomez a forty-two year old Guatemalan reported to police that eighteen year old Elston Gomez attacked him with a machete and chopped him in the right side of his head. Hipolito was taken to the Belmopan Hospital where he remains in a stable condition. Charges have yet to be filed against Elston Gomez.
