Wooddwellas promote “Lion’s Den” CD
They opened for Beenie Man and this weekend you can catch them at the City Fest at B.T.L. Park. Mozes, Indio, and Quinn better known as “The Wooddwellas” may be based in LA but their family roots are in Belize. The September Celebrations is their favorite time of year to come home and share their music. Quinn spoke to News Five about their latest album, “Lion’s Den,” and their upcoming tour.

“We have a new CD out; it’s called “Lion’s Den”. It has about ten cuts on it, more reggae style, right. The first one was more hip-hop. We have another hip hop one coming, probably in about two weeks, but this one here is reggae and they are playing it on the radio right now.
Right now Dark Waters Music, which is my company, is working on a tour for the Wooddwellas throughout the United States and Europe. Part of the proceeds will go to different charities. The first one we are looking at is the jaguar preserve. I believe it’s Jaguar creek preserve down in Stann Creek. We’re just trying to help the environment. Give a little bit back to Belize since Belize gives so much to us.”
The “Lion’s Den” C.D. is available at Stone and Baron and Record Shacks One and Two. Wooddwellas are scheduled to perform at the City Fest at the B.T.L. Park this Saturday at five p.m. and on Sunday at eight.
