Chamber hosts Expo at S.J.C.
This weekend, nearly seventy businesses from all over Belize will participate in the annual Expo, sponsored by the Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Most of the businesses took time out today to set up at the St. John’s College Gym. Despite the dreary weather forecast, the Belize Chamber of Commerce says the show will go on.
Kevin Herrera, General Manager, B.C.C.I.
“It really gives businesses an opportunity on a one on one basis to meet with potential clients or customers and talk with them and tell them about their products and services and what they have.”
Q: “Are they going to have a lot of free stuff?”
Kevin Herrera
“Yes, there will be a lot of giveaways. So I encourage everybody to come out. They’ll be gate prizes, discounts; there’ll be many. There’ll even be raffles and so there’ll be food, drinks, whatever; you just ask for it and it’ll be at Expo.”
The Expo opens to the public from ten on Saturday. News Five will be broadcasting live from the Expo on Sunday from eleven to one.
