Woman killed, children in K.H.M.H. following crash
A family trip to Belize City ended in tragedy shortly after eleven this morning. According to police, fifty-eight year old Jesus Ayuso was traveling from Orange Walk to the city, but between miles twenty eight and twenty nine, the vehicle’s left rear tire blew out. Ayuso lost control of the Range Rover and it overturned. His wife, fifty-eight year old Marie Louise Ayuso sustained serious head and body injuries and died at the scene. Jesus Ayuso received head injuries and has undergone surgery at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. According to hospital authorities, Ayuso is in a good condition. Four children travelling inside the vehicle were also injured. Seventeen year old Jesus Ayuso Jr. has already been released from the hospital but Elma Morgan, two-year-old Jeremy Rodriquez, and four-year-old Noire Rodriquez remain hospitalized in a stable condition.
