Culture Village features ethnic food, music
The National September Celebrations Committee in association with the Belize Arts Council invites you to come and experience Belizean culture in an ethnic atmosphere on the fifteenth and sixteenth. The Culture Village will provide you with a wide variety of ethnic dishes for breakfast, snacks, lunch and supper. According to Anita Cheong, Public Relations Officer for the Belize Arts Council, you will not only be able to eat and listen to some good ethnic sounds, the event will be an educational experience for tourists as well as Belizeans.

“We know that we have a lot of different ethnic groups and then we want to teach the younger kids at school about all the ethnic food and cultural dances.
We want all the schools, primary schools and high schools to come out and see for themselves first hand, even the making of the cassava bread.”
The feast also includes arts and crafts. The Culture Village will be open from six in the morning until six in the evening at the Bliss Institute on Wednesday and Thursday.
