Fashion Show at House of Culture

An eclectic blend of American, European and African clothing will be featured in a fashion show on the seventeenth of September. Proceeds from the third annual fashion show will go towards the establishment of a Fashion Design School. This week several of the models showed off the creations by Dana Brown-Bryan and Patrick Bryan on the grounds of the House of Culture.

“This is Mindy; she’s giving us a glimpse of our plastic wears. This is Delbert; he’s in the military look. Floyd has on a sort of ragamuffin type style, or cargo style, but it’s still ragamuffin. And then we have the sports wear, Renee is wearing sportswear, and the African wear is Nzinga and Mario, they are doing the African wear.

All the plastic wears are my creations. They get a bit wilder. Mindy’s, that’s a bit moderate, but it gets a bit wilder.”
