Mr. Peters entertains seniors
While the younger folks will be bringing in the Tenth at the Beenie Man Concert or at the Music Fest, this afternoon some seniors had their own musical extravaganza at the House of Culture. The performers? The legendary Mr. Peters and his Boom and Chime Band. The House of Culture and Helpage Belize say today’s event was the beginning of what they hope will be monthly activities for the elderly. Among the other activities being considered are storytelling sessions, concerts, board games, dances and movies.
