Khalid Belisle Still in Running for U.D.P. Caretaker in Belmopan

As it relates to recently circulated comments about the former Belmopan City Mayor Khalid Belisle, he clarified today that he is not out of the race in his bid for U.D.P. caretaker for Belmopan. He released the following video.

“Hi Belmopan, in this short message I want to firstly thank those of you who have welcomed my team and I into your home. We look forward to meeting those of you who we have not reached yet. Secondly, contrary to erroneous reports, I want to emphatically state that, my campaign for U.D.P. caretaker continues, in fact is reinvigorated. We are the United Democratic Party and our team is going to do all it takes to ensure the democratic process prevails in our Party. We will do all it takes to safe guard the right of the people of Belmopan to choose who represents them.”
