Nine pounds of marijuana confiscated
Acting on a tip the police received on Saturday, August twenty-eighth, a unit was sent out to number seventy Regent Street. There in an upstairs apartment, the police found nine and a half pounds of marijuana, a scale, cigarette paper and sixty dollars in cash. Inside the room were forty-three year old Horace McClaren and twenty year old Lorraine McDonald. Both were arrested and charged with two counts of drug trafficking and the possession of controlled drugs. According to C.I.B., it is not the first time McClaren has been arrested for the possession of a controlled substance.
