Together We Rise – it’s the name of an education pilot project also being rolled out by the Briceño administration to provide intervention programs at four secondary schools in Belize City. Here’s more from Prime Minister Briceño.

“Today along with the Minister of Education I am also pleased to announce the launch of the Education Upliftment Pilot Project: Together We Rise, which is aimed at providing specific, targeted interventions in four (4) Government High Schools located in vulnerable, at-risk communities in Southside Belize City.  This Project will see the rolling out of my Government’s Free Education Policy as set out in Plan Belize. We will also upgrade existing physical school infrastructure, expand feeding programs, provide counselling services, and improve training for teachers and staff of these institutions. We will not fail these young Belizeans!”
