Boat stolen in Dangriga
A boat has been reported stolen in Dangriga. Arthur Usher told police around five o’clock this morning, he couldn’t find his boat which he had moored in front of Jungle Huts Resort on Wednesday night. A watchman in the area told Usher that he had seen the boat around one a.m. being driven towards the sea shortly before a squall blew in. Two men were aboard. While Usher says a sea hunt would be useless, his investigations on land have led him to believe that the occupants of a Honduran boat seen earlier in the evening are connected to the incident. He is asking that boat captains travelling to Honduras keep an eye out for the twenty-five foot vessel which has a white exterior and blue interior named “Jungle”. It is powered by a sixty horsepower engine. The boat is valued at nine thousand dollars.
