Justice Rivero’s funeral on Friday

Supreme Court Justice John Rivero will be buried Friday in an official funeral in Belmopan. Rivero was killed in a traffic accident on the Western Highway on Monday. Services will be held at the Belmopan Civic Center at two p.m. He is survived by his wife and five children. So far police have not charged anyone in connection with the accident which occurred at mile thirty-four. The Justice and his driver were heading towards Belmopan in a government vehicle when they collided with a vehicle driven by Winston Aspinal. Rivero sustained serious injuries and died in a helicopter en route to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.
