Suspects detained but no charges yet in death of Dwayne Gabourel

Investigations continue into the shooting death of fifteen year old Dwayne Gabourel who was gunned down in his neighbourhood shop as he went to buy bread on Saturday in Belize City. Gabourel died on Monday. Police told news five today they quote “have detainees” but no one has been officially charged. So far no motive has been determined since Gabourel was a third form student who got along well with everyone. His murder, captured on surveillance video has shocked the nation and even prompted some alleged gang members to decry the attack on an innocent youth with no gang affiliation.
