Troy DaBoy Premieres “I Wish” Music Video

He goes by the stage name Troy DaBoy, but dance hall artist Timothy Gentle of Orange Walk wants to spread positive vibes across the country. His music video “I Will,” premiered today on YouTube. Gentle has been working the industry for a few years now, but has most recently been in studio producing singles. “I Will” is a motivational track that is needed during this time where violence has been spiraling.

“The song itself, I recorded this. This was one of the first songs that I recorded, but I waited some time for it to release and it actually is something that I do believe will reflect on a lot of youths very good at this time. The main theme or the main idea behind “I Will” actually comes from the name where motivation/inspiration – this is the big theme. The chorus itself is kind of a mantra to keep pushing no matter how hard it is, no matter what obstacles you are faced with. The song just based on what’s happening right now in the country, I would definitely want youths or [persons] just around my age range to actually listen to the song and understand that everyone is facing some type of trouble and this is definitely is something that you can listen to and feel some type of hope. But the song itself doesn’t have an age preference. Young, old you can listen to it and I’m sure it would relate in some way no matter what situation it is. I’m working on my first EP and that will be released in the beginning of next year. So at this time, it is just going to be singles that I am releasing, but all of my current music can be found on any platform – whether it is Spotify, Itunes, AudioMac; you can also find it on TikTok. But the music video itself, I just premiered it on YouTube. Definitely, getting a lot of traction; I do like the feedback so far, but definitely check it out on YouTube.”
