Cyclist Dies Three Weeks after Accident
Almost three weeks after being hit by a car on the Phillip Goldson Highway, a resident of Sand Hill has died. Twenty-eight-year-old Keiron Flowers succumbed to injuries he received following an accident on September seventh in front of the U-Mall in Ladyville. Flowers remained in a coma at the K.H.M.H. until he died on Monday. An official police report of the accident says that Flowers was riding a motorcycle in Ladyville when he collided into a Chevy Malibu near the Old Airport Road Junction. The driver of the vehicle, sixty-seven-year-old Noe de Jesus Rivas reportedly made a left turn towards U-Mall Supermarket causing Flowers to collide into his vehicle. Flowers fell from the motorcycle and suffered head injuries. He was transported to the K.H.M.H. in an unconscious state. A police investigation revealed that Rivas appeared to be at fault for the incident.
