One charged for Talbert Lamb beating death
A man who turned himself into police following the beating and subsequent death of Talbert Lamb earlier this week was charged with murder today. Virgil Batty went to police on Wednesday in the company of his lawyer Lutchman Sooknandan. Police are still seeking several other suspects in connection with the incident on the night of August 4th. Lamb was found severely beaten at the corner of Pickstock Street and New Road. He never regained consciousness and died at the K.H.M.H. on August 9th.
