Belize City boy reports rape

An 18 year old from Teakettle Village in the Cayo District has been arrested for the indecent assault of a 12 year old. The girl’s mother told police she had sent her two daughters to wash some clothes by the river on August eighth. A short while later the younger girl aged four came running home to report that the twelve year old was locked up in a house with Sheldon Meighan. He was charged with unlawful carnal knowledge and indecent assault.

In Belize City, a man has been charged with raping an eleven year old boy. Jin Rong, whose brother owns Ah Wing Restaurant on Mahogany Street, has been charged with an unnatural crime and grievous harm. This follows a report that on August 6th he made a lewd comment to a boy who was working in the restaurant, then pulled the child into the men’s room and raped him.
